Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993. She is also the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely credited with initiating the contemporary science-based study of children's eyewitness memory and child victimes as witness in court situations. Professor Goodman has published widely as well as received numerous grants. She has also received several international and national prizes. She has provided policy and research consultations to many agencies and departments across the world. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of many professional organizations including The Association for Psychological Science and the American Psychological Association (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues Society for Child and Family Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychological Psychology of women and trauma stress 56). She is the founder of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was President of the America Psychological Association's divisions: Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Children and Families policy and practice.
