Aurora
Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th, 1997 in Stavanger and professionally referred to as Aurora often stylized in uppercase as AURORA is an Norwegian musician and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves has been released by Decca Records and was well welcomed by blogs about music. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by Oasis), from the group Oasis) for John Lewis' Christmas advert as well as Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that were widely appreciated. Katy Perry, who endorsed the tune Runaway by her, gave the song a boost of recognition. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music was discovering a grand piano that was in the attic. The piano was fascinating to her its capabilities. Her parents May-Britt and Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but to grow. The singer began to write her own songs. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, along with Bjork as being her influences. In response to her mother's suggestion that she should not be aiming to become famous with her songwriting, but instead be aware of the significance of them as well as their contribution to society. The piano was first played by her when she was six years old and began writing music at the age of nine. They didn't even be aware until fourteen. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. The singer claims she is a fan of composing music. For her, music is the only method of feeling anything.
